Five golden rules for drafting your 360 questions

Review each of the FIVE GOLDEN RULES for your drafted 360 question. Amend your question and re-draft it until you can tick off each of the golden rules.

  1. IS THIS SHORT? 

    You should aim for between 2 and 6 words, 10 maximum

  2. IS THIS ASKING JUST ONE THING?

    You should avoid asking two questions in one, avoid “and”

  3. IS THIS IN PLAIN ENGLISH?

    Every single reviewer needs to be able to understand it easily; no abbreviations

  4. IS THIS OBSERVABLE?

    Check that a reviewer can see or hear them do this

  5. DOES THIS AVOID DUPLICATION/REPETITION?

    Ensure a big word is not used twice in your survey
