Johari Window chart
This new chart can be added to your customised 360 report.
It provides a summary picture of the relative ratings for each competency, comparing your view with the other reviewers. Where there is agreement between the overall rating that you have given yourself with the ratings given by others, then the coordinates will fall either into the top right or bottom left quadrants. The two remaining quadrants highlight potential development areas and strengths that may be hidden from your view.
Hidden Development Areas – competencies rated lowest by other people but strongest by you
Confirmed Strengths – competencies rated strongest by everyone
Development Areas – everyone rated the competency lower than other competencies
Hidden Strengths – others see these competencies as stronger while you rated them less positively
Each chart is unique
The chart looks at relative trends within the data for the self and all the other raters. If you have rated yourself low in all competencies, you may still have confirmed strengths which would come from the highest rated of these competencies.
Each 360 report will have its own unique scale (as this is determined by your data). The centre-point of each axis is dictated by the average (median) value for the competency averages.
