Powerful 360 feedback on a leader’s capabilities to navigate volatility, uncertainty and complexity

In this globally interconnected and turbulent world, following a steady strategy is becoming more difficult. Organisational leadership is being required to draw upon different capabilities – those which enable leaders to make sense of situations in more sophisticated ways to navigate this uncertainty. Yet organisations consistently doubt the VUCA-capability of their leaders (Conference Board/DDI Global Leadership Forecast 2015).

In September 2018 we launched a new leadership 360 assessment tool, the ‘VUCA Capabilities 360’. The only questionnaire of its kind, it enables a range of relevant individuals to assess a leader’s performance across five key capabilities: Promote Inquiry, Surface Dilemmas, Nudge Systems, Connect Creatively and Cultivate Resilience. These capabilities, underpinned by extensive research and development practice by MDV Consulting Ltd, are crucial to delivering a more connected, emergent and agile leadership approach to navigate VUCA conditions.

Between 10 and 20 different reviewers provide ratings and qualitative feedback against a numerical rating scale for over 60 aspects of behaviour across the five capabilities.
